You Pay Nothing
Unless We Win!
NO WIN, NO FEE!
1. What is “personal injury”?
“Personal injury” is generally considered to be a very broad and encompassing term that means any kind of accident or similar type of incident that leads to bodily injury. Personal injury cases can include:
- Motor vehicle accidents
- Products liability (i.e. defectively manufactured products)
- Injuries caused by the negligence of others
- Slip and fall type of injuries
2. What do you typically charge for a personal injury case?
We usually charge on what is referred to as a contingency fee basis. This means that in most cases, you will not have to pay our fees for legal services unless we achieve a settlement or we win at a court trial. We would request that you contact one of our lawyers to discuss whether your case qualifies to be charged on a contingency fee basis.
3. Do you also take “soft tissue” accident benefit cases?
We do accept “soft tissue” claims that many other lawyers do not wish to handle. Our Philosophy is to handle the “small” soft tissue injuries and catastrophic claims alike.
3. How much will I receive in damages?
How much you are entitled to receive in monetary damages depends on many factors. The most important typically being: the extent of your injury and your health condition after you have finished medical treatment. A member of our firm will discuss this issue with you at the initial consultation.
4. What is the likelihood of success and do you guarantee success?
As you can appreciate, there are no guarantees for success. The most we can provide is a proper assessment of the probable outcome. We have had very good results in the past and have a developed our practice based on referrals.
5. Are there time limits for making a claim?
Yes, there are strict time limits applicable to claims and the limits are very much dependent upon the type and location of the accident. These time limits can vary quite significantly. For example some claims expire within 7 days. It is important that early legal advice is sought as to the applicable time limits so that the deadline for a claim being made is not missed. You do not want to be in the unfortunate situation where you have a legitimate claim but are not able to progress your claim because you ran out of time to make the claim.
6. What is the process of hiring you?
After your free consultation and our engagement as your lawyers, we will gather as much information as needed about your case. We will correspond with the other side and determine the various legal strategies available to us in your case.
7. Do you offer a FREE?Consultation?
Yes. An initial consultation with a member of our staff is always free.
